LOGGING INTO ONLINE REVIEW MODULES
  1. Key in your username and password.
    • Your username will be your CBRC id number (username format : section-idno. eg j-12345)
    • Your password will be your surname.
  2. Click the Login button.
ACCESSING YOUR COURSE
After you log in, select the course of choice from the courses’ block (Figure 1). Click the CBRC Reviewees Modules.

You will be directed to the page which contains the modules available for the month of April (FIGURE 2). These are:
1.) The Online Review Module and 2.) The Mock Board.

ONLINE REVIEW MODULE

Click on the “Online Review Module for April” to load the Weekly Outline screen (Figure 3). This will display the subject of the quiz which can be taken on a specific week (e.g. 19 April – 25 April for Fundamental of Nursing, 26 April – 2 May for Community Health Nursing, etc.). Make sure to visit the Online Review Module on the days listed below so that you will be able to take the corresponding quizzes. Within the 7-day schedule, you have unlimited access and will be allowed to take the quiz as long as you want. However, on the following day (8th day), the subject area will be locked automatically. This means that you will not be able to access the said subject area anymore. Another set of questionnaire will be available for testing. Every week there is a new subject area available for examination. There are 50 questions in all the subjects which you have to answer. And just like in the real board exam, you are given choices from which you can select the most appropriate answer for the question.

Select Fundamental of Nursing from the Topic outline list to load page. To start taking the test, click the Attempt quiz now button. This will display the grading method to be used and the period the said quiz will be available (Figure 4). Click on the Attempt quiz now button. The questionnaire (Figure 5) for this topic will be loaded next on your screen. Note that the subject title is “Fundamental of Nursing – Attempt 1”. This means that it is the first time you are going to take the said examination. To start the quiz, read carefully each question and tick the most appropriate answer from the selection.

At the end of the examination, there are buttons that will ask you if you wish to Save without submitting or Submit all and finish (Figure 6).

  1. Save without submitting
    When you choose to click this button, the system will just save and store all your answers but will not submit it for checking/ correction until you prompted it to do so. In this way, you still have the chance to retrieve, review and replace your answers.
  2. Submit all and finish
    When you choose to click this button, a notification message will pop up on your screen to inform you that you are about to close your attempt – meaning, that the answers you provided in the questionnaire were already final and can no longer be changed thus, will be submitted for correction/ checking (Figure 7).

Click OK to initiate submit action. The next screen will display the summary of the test result (Figure 8). It will show the details of the Review attempts (or the number of times the examination was taken/submitted), the Start & Completion of the examination, the Time taken in answering, the Raw score, the Grade acquired and the Feedback.

Below the Summary of the test result will be the questionnaire with your answers, vis-à-vis the correct answers and its rationalization (Figure 9). In this way, you will be able to have a deeper and better understanding of the all the concepts in each subject area.

When you are done reviewing the test result, click the Finish review button (Figure 10) at the end of the page. You will be directed again to the screen that contains the summary of all your attempts (examination submitted) including the latest test result. If you wish to take the quiz once more, just click the Continue the last attempt button (Figure 11).

To download and print your certificate, go back to CBRC Review Modules,click on the Online review module for April and select ORN Certificate link (Figure 12). Note that you can have your certification at the end of each course. However, you must first meet the grade requirement (Figure 13). To generate your certificate, you need to get a perfect score per subject areas.

Due to this condition, you are obliged to maximize the review to be able to master the concepts per subject area and get a perfect score in a span of 7 days. In this way only you can have your certification.From the backend of the ORN system the CBRC staff regularly monitors the performance of each of our student and tracks down his or her improvement and readiness in taking the real Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE).The moment you get a perfect score, you will be allowed to download your certificate in pdf format (Figure 14). Click on the print icon to initiate printing.
